Download Aadhaar Enrolment Form

1. Download this Enrolment Form, Print it and Fill it.

It is the Same form you will get in the Aadhaar Enrolment Centre, so better option is to Fill the Form with ease at your Home.

2. Find your Nearest Aadhar Enrolment Centre and Fix an Appointment Online or Visit the Enrolment Centre Directly.

3. Make Sure to Carry your Address Proof(POA) and Identity Proof(POI) along with the Filled Enrolment Form. Give the form and Documents to the Officials at the Aadhar Centre.

Q. What Can I give as an Address Proof and Identity Proof?

For Address Proof you can Give a copy of your Electricity Bill(Not Older than 3 months), and for Identity Proof you can give a copy of your Passport.

No, You have to Give a Copy of your Original Address Proof and Identity Proof to the Officials, but you have to carry the original ones just to show that the Copy is valid and not Edited.

4. The Officials will take your Biometrics(Finger Print and Retina Scan) and a Picture(of Face) which will be associated with your Aadhar.

5. After the completion of Above Steps, you will get an Acknowledgement Slip which will contain all your Information.

Your Acknowledgement Slip will have your Enrolment ID and Date-Time which will help you in Checking the Status and Downloading your Aadhaar.

2. If you have not stayed in India for 182 Days in the past 12 Months, then you are not Eligible for an Aadhaar Card.

3. If you were asked to pay Money, then you can Raise a Complaint.

4. Your Aadhaar will reach you within 60-90 Days after you Apply.

5. If you need your Aadhaar Card before that let’s say for Opening a Bank Account, then you can Download your Aadhaar Card which is called E- Aadhaar.

6. E- Aadhaar is 100% Legal and Valid.

7. You can Only Download your E Aadhar After the Status of your Aadhaar Shows Generated.

What proofs does an NRI/OCI need to apply for an Aadhar card?

Ans. No, an NRI is also a citizen of India, so he/she has rights to Have an Aadhaar Card after He/She becomes Eligible by staying in India for at least 182 Days in the past 12 Months.

Ans. Yes, Aadhar Card is necessary for an NRI if He/She stays in India for 182 Days or above in the Past 12 Months.

Without an Aadhaar Card, He/She may not be able to Enjoy certain Benefits that requires an Aadhar Card.

Q. Do NRIs Need To Link Aadhaar Card With PAN, Bank Account, Mobile Number (SIM)?

Ans. It Depends. For PAN card it is not compulsory to Link Aadhaar Card, but you can link it, same for Bank Account.

But most of the SIM card are given only on Aadhaar Card, so you most probably have to link Aadhaar with Mobile Number to take a new SIM.

For an Older SIM, it is suggested to link it with Aadhaar Card.
